Cisco.com Page Redesign Examples
Goal
Be innovative but keep the basics creating digital experiences on Cisco.com that follow foundational design system. Making the pages lighter, faster mobile and SEO optimized which would drive more engagement.
Role
Build and redesign old pages of Cisco.com that starts from handling client engagements all the way from requirements to creating wireframes in Axure to delivering Zeplin ready specs for developers.
How To Buy - Redesign
A design that utilizes standard Contact Us component (Right Rail or Sticky Nav) and has a consistent layout, identify duplicates and content for all the global (different locals) How To Buy pages on Cisco.com.
Challenge
To make sure the layout is consistent on 3 different views:View 1: Anonymous guest
View 1: Anonymous guest
View 2: Registered guest & Customer
View 3: Partner & Employee
Metrics
Along with another senior designer worked on collecting data and metrics on number of clicks over 3 weeks on different views for How To Buy Page.
After analyzing the metrics and based on the number of clicks data I came up with multiple variations to accommodate the goals for the design problem.
Co-innovation center - Redesign
Design and content refresh for Co-innovation page on Cisco.com to improve SEO, page engagement and mobile optimization using the building blocks for Cisco.com.
SuccessHub - Redesign
Organizing and aligning the structure of the SuccessHub page on Cisco.com following the information hierarchy and standard component design system on the page. Along with this help and provide publishing team with correct size of asset production for images and icons.
